Upcoming TV anime There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her (Yusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku Shitemita.) has received a key visual and the announcement of a January 6, 2026 JST broadcast start date.

It was also announced that Iori Noguchi and Ayumi Murase have been cast as Happiness and Raven, respectively.

There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her is based on the Futabasha-published manga by Kairi. Protagonist Yoki reincarnates in a fantasy world as the underling of the Demon King and falls in love with the priest Cecilia, who arrives as part of the Hero’s Party to take down the Demon King.

The story was created by Suisei and began as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2013. Three light novel volumes, illustrated by La-na were published between 2014 to 2015 under Futabasha’s Monster Bunko label. La-na is listed as the original character designer in the anime’s credits.
