The Ring of Aidara Is An Upcoming CG Anime from Tsuburaya Productions and Toei Animation

Tsuburaya Productions and Toei Animation are co-producing a CG anime film titled Kaiju Decode: The Ring of Aidara.

This part of the larger Kaiju Decode project, which previously saw the creation of a short anime and VR animation.

The new movie is “themed around the story of a “Kaiju” and a girl” and is set in Sakai. Part of the official description reads:

A youth named Maru lives in the peaceful City, a society freed from the restrictions of the body, mind, space, and time. In contrast, a girl named Coco, a member of the Aidara Tribe, resides in the Zone, a treacherous area also inhabited by incredible beasts. The story revolves around two opposing characters seeking a path into a shared future.
