‘The Lost Boys’ Musical Debuts First Single Featuring Slash As Tickets Go On Sale

Guitar legend Slash, fresh off his Deathstalker collab, is taking “death by stereo” to heart in the first single from The Lost Boys: A New Musical.

The musical stage adaptation has unveiled its first single, “Have to Have You,” coinciding with the launch of ticket sales at LostBoysMusical.com.

Revisit the world of Santa Carla when the musical makes its Broadway premiere on April 26, 2026. Previews begin Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Palace Theatre.

The new track features cast members Ali Louis Bourzgui, Maria Wirries, Brian Flores, Sean Grandillo, and Dean Maupin, with a shredding solo by Slash. Check out the video for the single below.

In the musical, “When a mother and her two teenage sons move to town in desperate need of a fresh start, they soon uncover the darker side of this sunny coastal community. While Lucy tries to piece her family’s life back together, Michael keeps pulling away in search of belonging. As he finds connection with a local rock band and its charismatic leader, his younger brother Sam comes face-to-face with a terrifying reality: When night falls, Michael’s new friends are even more dangerous than they first appeared.”

The Lost Boys: A New Musical will be directed by Michael Arden, featuring Music and Lyrics by The Rescues, Book by David Hornsby & Chris Hoch, Story by James Jeremias & Janice Fischer, and produced by James Carpinello, Marcus Chait & Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.

Caissie Levy, LJ Benet, Benjamin Pajak, and Paul Alexander Nolan also star in The Lost Boys: The Musical.

Caissie Levy is playing Lucy Emerson, while LJ Benet is Michael Emerson, Ali Louis Bourzgui is the iconic vampire David (played by Kiefer Sutherland in the ’80s movie), and Benjamin Pajak is Sam Emerson, with Maria Wirries as Star, Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne, Dean Maupinas Paul, and Paul Alexander Nolan as Max. Also in the cast are Jennifer Duka as Alan Frog and Miguel Gil (Kimberly Akimbo) in the Corey Feldman role of Edgar Frog.

Joel Schumacher directed the original The Lost Boys movie in 1987, wherein two brothers move to a new town and discover that the area is a haven for vampires.

Get ready for more musical teases on the way. To help prep fans for the Broadway show, a three-song EP, The Lost Boys — The Santa Carla Sessions, will begin streaming on October 31.
