Fantasy anime The Cat and the Dragon (Neko to Ryu) has received a teaser trailer and teaser visual, along with the announcement of a July 2026 premiere.
Takehito Koyasu is voicing Nekoryu, a dragon raised by a cat. Meanwhile, the production credits include:

The Cat and the Dragon is based on the light novel series written by Amara and illustrated by Mai Okuma, which began publication under the Takarajimasha Bunko label in 2017 and will get its ninth volume on November 26, 2025 JST. The story started as a Shousetsuka ni Narou short story published in 2013.
There is a manga by Izumi Sasaki.
