A main trailer and main key visual have been released for the upcoming The Case Book of Arne TV anime adaptation.
The new promotional materials were accompanied by the reveal of the show’s January 6, 2026 JST broadcast premiere (effectively January 7 at 1:29 AM JST), as well as main cast and theme song details:
• Mariya Ise is original character Lewis Hartman, who runs a detective agency with their father
• Koki Uchiyama is the vampire detective Arne
• Aimi Tanaka is boy form Arne
• Yuka Nukui is Lynn, the daughter of a noble family
• The opening song is Sou‘s “Q.E.D”
• The ending song is Watashi Kobayashi‘s “Ningyo no Machi”

The Case Book of Arne is inspired by a 2D mystery-adventure game created by Harumurasaki, the story of which Steam describes as such:
Arne Neuntöte is a vampire detective who manipulates supernatural powers.
Lynn Reinweiß is a nobleman’s daughter who loves vampires.
Their worlds should never have crossed, but they join hands to solve a bloody mystery.
In the darkest of nights, Lynn finds herself in desperate need of help.
Then she wanders into the mysterious city of “Lügenberg”, where non-humans live.
Lynn’s world changes drastically when she encounters “Arne”, a vampire who is called “the worst” in the city.
And tonight, a new “murder case” has occurred.
What is the truth behind the bizarre incidents that take place in a world where humanity and the bizarre intersect?
“Come on, human. You may dance merrily under the crimson moon.”
The game first debuted in 2017 on the Game Magazine website (Game Magazine is also credited as a developer) with a serialized format before its 2020 Steam release. A KADOKAWA-published The Case Book of Arne manga drawn by Soraho Ina also exists.
