The Barbarian’s Bride anime adaptation has been delayed to April 2026, citing that the reason is to improve its quality. The anime was originally set to premiere in October.
The author of the original manga series, Noriaki Kotoba, also posted on his official X/Twitter account apologizing to fans, citing various circumstances as the reason for its delay. He drew an illustration of the main protagonist, Serafina de Lavillant, with the new premiere date.
The Barbarian’s Bride is a romantic comedy fantasy manga written and illustrated by Noriaki Kotoba. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since January 2021, and nine manga volumes have been released. The tenth volume is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 9, 2025 JST.
Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed and is publishing the manga in English. It describes the series as:
