Crunchyroll has announced several new anime license acquisitions during its showcase panel at New York Comic Con 2025, which includes OSHI NO KO Season 3 and the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea anime film.
The upcoming third season of OSHI NO KO will officially come to Crunchyroll after HIDIVE streamed the first two seasons in 2023 and 2024.

Crunchyroll has also acquired the worldwide theatrical rights (excluding most Asian territories) for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea anime feature film. It will be released by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with theatrical dates to be announced at a later date. The film is scheduled to begin screening in Japanese theaters on February 27, 2026, while a fourth season was announced last September.

In addition to the new license acquisitions, Crunchyroll also debuted the world premiere trailer of Daemons of the Shadow Realm, a new teaser visual for the upcoming Witch Hat Atelier anime adaptation, and announced the official launch of the Crunchyroll Manga app in the U.S. and Canada.
Other New York Comic Con programming Crunchyroll will host throughout the weekend include a world premiere screening of Fire Force Season 3 Part 2, a DAN DA DAN English dub cast panel, and a TRIGUN STARGAZE two-episode world premiere and creator talk.
