A one-hour Detective Conan/Case Closed special, labelled as Episode “ZERO” and titled/subtitled Kudo Shinichi Suizokukan Jiken (Shinichi Kudo Aquarium Incident), will air in January 2026.
As suggested by the “ZERO,” the story takes place (slightly) before Shinichi’s Detective Conan days. The premise sees Shinichi and Ran checking out an aquarium to prepare for a date-based plan to mend relations between Ran’s parents, only to find themselves attempting to solve a case.
