“I’m gonna burn it all down…”

The wait is over, folks!

After months of silence, we finally have our first look at Kevin Williamson’s Scream 7, with the release of the first trailer.

Going back to where it all began; the trailer starts at Stu Macher’s iconic house. Now an Airbnb, the legendary “murder house” plays on its notoriety for profit. Actors Michelle Randolph and Jimmy Tatro are seen as the latest customers to spend the night… Of course, this ends terribly, when a real Ghostface killer appears, hungry for blood.

We are then introduced to the quaint hamlet of Pine Grove, Indiana, where Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott has built a relatively anonymous life. All of this changes with the ring of a telephone and a threat against her eldest daughter Tatum.

With her family in jeopardy, Sidney fights with all she’s got. We witness her taking refuge in her fortified home, as well as guiding her daughter via security cameras, leading to a successful Ghostface takedown.

Of course, Sidney calls on trusted allies Gale Weathers and Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin, who are more than willing to aid in the fight.

In some particularly menacing clips, we hear Sidney being taunted by voices from her past. Although not evident on first listen, actors David Arquette and Matthew Lillard briefly take over Ghostface’s threatening diatribe as the trailer progresses.

One haunting final shot shows Ghostface walking away, as Stu Macher’s house burns down behind him, proving once and for all that Woodsboro is a thing of the past…

Looking like an all-out fight to the death, Scream 7 has put many minds at rest with its first teaser, and will undoubtedly win big at the box-office.

The film is set to slash into theatres on February 27th 2026, and you can check out the viral first trailer below:
