Japanese rapper Awich and funk band ALI are joining forces for the new collaborative track “Golden Horizon,” which serves as the official theme song for the upcoming Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kojo-hen anime film. The single is now available on several music streaming platforms.

ALI previously performed the opening theme of Golden Kamuy’s fourth season “NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat. Mummy-D.” 

Awich’s “Frontiers” was previously used as the second opening theme for Shangri-La Frontier Season 2. 

Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kojo-hen is an early two-part theatrical preview for Golden Kamuy: The Final Chapter, which will begin screening in Japanese theaters on October 10, 2025. Meanwhile, The Final Chapter TV anime series is expected to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026. 

The first Golden Kamuy season premiered in April 2018, which was followed by a second season in October 2018. A third season was released in 2020, while a fourth season aired between 2022 and 2023. The first three seasons were produced by Geno Studio, while season four was produced by Brain’s Base. 

VIZ Media releases the Golden Kamuy manga in English, and describes the main synopsis as:

In the early twentieth century, Russo-Japanese War veteran Saichi “Immortal” Sugimoto scratches out a meager existence during the postwar gold rush in the wilderness of Hokkaido. When he stumbles across a map to a fortune in hidden Ainu gold, he sets off on a treacherous quest to find it. But Sugimoto is not the only interested party, and everyone who knows about the gold will kill to possess it! Faced with the harsh conditions of the northern wilderness, ruthless criminals and rogue Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto will need all his skills and luck—and the help of an Ainu girl named Asirpa—to survive.
