Rich Girl Caretaker Gets Anime Adaptation

The Rich Girl Caretaker light novel series will receive an anime adaptation.

Rich Girl Caretaker (Saijo no Osewa Takane no Hana darake na Meimonkou de, Gakuinichi no Ojosama (Seikatsu Noryoku Kaimu) o Kagenagara Osewa suru koto ni Narimashita) is a romantic comedy where a high schooler becomes the caretaker of a rich girl who seems perfect at school but is hopeless in reality. The books are penned by Yusaku Sakaishi and feature illustrations from Sakura Miwabe.

Hobby Japan publishes the series under its HJ Bunko label, with volume 11 set to be released on October 31, 2025 JST. The first volume came out in 2021.

Spain-based publisher Monogatari Novels has licensed the light novels for English publication. Its volume 1 synopsis reads:

A high school boy, Itsuki Tomonari, gets involved in a kidnapping and ends up taking care of Hinako Konohana, a young lady from one of Japan’s largest conglomerates.

On the surface, Hinako seems to be a brilliant and charming girl, but in reality, she is a lazy girl with no life skills. However, due to family reasons, Hinako has to play the role of the “perfect young lady” at school. Wanting to protect her, Itsuki takes care of her in a very caring manner. Eventually, Hinako begins to fawn on Itsuki with all her might… “Now…if Itsuki isn’t around, I would hate it.”

This is a love story that begins with a cute young lady with a gap that transcends the master-servant relationship.

Rich Girl Caretaker also has a manga.
