Restart Reveals New Teaser Visual & 1st Full Trailer

A new teaser visual and first full trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan sometime in 2026

It was also announced that the anime’s main ending theme song is “ReMind” by Daisy×Daisy

Meanwhile, the show’s main opening theme “No tears here” by Minori Chihara is also highlighted in the newly released trailer. 

Additionally, character designs for Pechka, Pfle, Shadow Gale, and Lapis Lazuline have also been unveiled.

Hiroyuki Hashimoto (reprising) is directing Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart, with Takawo Yoshioka (reprising) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Masako Ito (Season1 SD character designer) as character designer. SynergySP is the new series’ animation production studio, replacing Lerche, who worked on the 2016 Magical Girl Raising Project anime series.

An anime adaptation of Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart was first announced in 2023. It serves as the follow-up to 2016’s Magical Girl Raising Project, which Funimation streamed worldwide as it aired in Japan. The first series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. 

The original light novel series is written by Asari Endo and illustrated by Marui-no. It was first published by Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Bunko imprint on June 8, 2012 and has released 18 volumes as of November 2023. 

Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart is the title of the light novel series’ second and third volumes, which serve as a two-part story. The light novels also inspired two manga adaptations.
