A second season of the Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time TV anime has been announced.

The first season began in January 2025 and had 12 episodes. The anime is based on the Alphapolis-published light novel series written by Kogitsunemaru and illustrated by Hitogome, which started in 2018 and has 17 volumes as of December 2024. There is a manga drawn by Taro Sasakama, which Alpha Manga describes as:
Not even a hero, Takumi Iruma gets accidentally mixed in with a group of heroes chosen to be summoned to another world. As compensation for the mix-up, a goddess offers him the right to choose any skill he wishes for! Hoping for a peaceful and quiet life that has nothing to do with fighting or going into battle, he chooses a seemingly boring creation skill.
