DreadXP had the 2025 edition of their Indie Horror Showcase yesterday, with trailers for 70 new and upcoming titles featured during this year’s event. As such, apart from the trailer announcements that we covered for the upcoming Paranormal Activity game, Riddlewood Manor and Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, there was understandably a lot to cover. MANGLEDmaw Games’ third entry in the Amanda The Adventurer series finally has a release date on Steam of November 6. Amanda the Adventurer 3 takes the best elements from its predecessors to offer a thrilling experience to fans of the series and newcomers alike as they take on the thought-provoking puzzles hiding secrets within the Hameln facility. Scarlet Hollow, the award-winning gothic horror narrative developed by Black Tabby Games (of Slay the Princess fame) will see its fifth episode release on Valentine Day’s Eve next year on February 13. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam, with a planned seven episodes.
Heading towards its revised November 19 release, Necrosoft Games and publisher Ysbryd Games have debuted a new trailer for Demonschool that takes a look at the upcoming RPG’s tactics gameplay and “horror puppetry”. Look for Demonschool on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
THE SPIRIT LIFT, a retro horror deckbuilder roguelike set in a haunted hotel from developer prettysmart games, will launch on PC via Steam on January 27, 2026. Assemble a trio of ‘90s teen paranormal investigators to enter a ghostly hotel and discover the secrets at its heart. Ascend each floor, battling haunted dolls, poltergeists, and malignant entities of long-dead guests before returning to the supernatural elevator.
Fans of Electronic Arts’ classic Mutant League Football on the Sega Genesis will be in heaven this Christmas, thanks to Digital Dreams Entertainment and their over-the-top “NFL Blitz Meets Evil Dead” mashup sequel, Mutant Football League 2. The pigskin and more will fly on December 10 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series.
Eager to check out DreadXP and developer Talesworth Game Studio’s hand-drawn, black and white dungeon-crawling RPG The Secret of Weepstone? You can finally do so with the new demo available on Steam. The demo gives players a taste of the full game, allowing you to take a party of 6 into the depths of the first level of Weepstone Keep, and discover what challenges and threats await ahead of its release next year.
Having already made it to PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Nightdive’s System Shock remake is finally coming later this year to the Nintendo Switch, as well as the Switch 2. The ports will have an array of exclusive features, such as Joy-Con 2 mouse support for the Switch 2, gyro aiming, various community-request features, and 1080p 60FPS support on Switch 2.
While we’re still waiting on a new release date for Trigger Happy Interactive’s psychological survival horror title Total Chaos, fans were given an update in the form of a new gameplay trailer. The trailer is set later in Total Chaos’ campaign, where an arachnid-like creature pursues you. With just a small light source in hand, the player has to hide in the shadows and avoid detection from the creature. Total Chaos will be heading to PC via Steam, with SteamVR support arriving shortly after launch.
