There is absolutely no stopping Osgood Perkins.
Following a stellar 2024 with Longlegs, Perkins was soon back on the big screen with 2025’s The Monkey. November 14th will see the filmmaker release Keeper, his third film in eighteen months.
After so much activity, one would think Perkins would take a well-deserved break come 2026.
However, we can confirm Perkins will be helming another project next year. The acclaimed filmmaker will once again partner with NEON for The Young People.
Initially announced in September, further news has now landed, confirming several names are attached to the project.
Perkins regular Tatiana Maslany will reunite with the filmmaker, following turns in The Monkey and the upcoming Keeper.
Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is also aboard the project, alongside Suitable Flesh’s Heather Graham, and The Last of Us actor Nico Parker.
Other cast members include Lola Tung, Cush Jumbo, Lexi Minetree, and Brendan Hines.
Shooting for The Young People is thought to be already underway in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Plot details for the project are being kept tightly under wraps, but a reliable source describes the script as “Lovecraftian” in nature.
The Young People is expected to release theatrically sometime in 2026, with more info on the project expected soon.
If you can’t wait that long for your next Osgood Perkins fix, Keeper will hit screens on November 14th via NEON.
