The official My Dress-Up Darling anime X (formerly Twitter) account recently released an illustration depicting female protagonist Marin Kitagawa as a participant on the popular YouTube music series The First Take.
The drawing commemorates Spira Spica‘s appearance on the 561st episode of the single-take music performance series, where the artist performed her My Dress-Up Darling Season 1 opening “Sun Sun Days.”

My Dress-Up Darling adapts the romantic comedy manga by Shinichi Fukuda, which ran from January 2018 to March 2025 in Young Gangan. Season 2 aired during the Summer 2025 anime season and has a synopsis that reads:
Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo meet one day and their become closer through cosplay. There are still so many cosplays they want to do and so many outfits they want to make. While interacting with their classmates and meeting new cosplay friends, Marin and Wakana’s world expands even more. And will there be any new developments with Marin’s love for Wakana that’s filled with never-ending excitement?
