In his feature film debut Lurker, writer and director Alex Russell digs deep into the world of toxic relationships and obsession in his tale about a fan going the distance to make a name for himself. Carrying the intense emotional stakes of Russell’s film are his stars Théodore Pellerin (Beau is Afraid) and Archie Madekwe (Saltburn), two incredible young talents unafraid to get raw and real with their portrayals of two very complicated and oftentimes deplorable characters.
We sat down with Russell, Madekwe, and Russell to discuss their new erotic thriller and shaping these complex characters.
Lurker is streaming now on MUBI.
