Tatiana Maslany in ‘Keeper’

NEON has shared an exclusive clip with Dread Central from its mysterious new horror film Keeper, written and directed by Osgood Perkins, known for his other recent bad trips, Longlegs and The Monkey.

Titled “Survival,” the scene features Tatiana Maslany alone and in total panic, frantically pleading for help over the phone. As the tension builds through Maslany’s performance, it becomes abundantly clear that she’s not quite as alone in the scene as she first appears. Very scary stuff.

Keeper marks Perkins’ continued collaboration with NEON, which previously distributed several of his projects. The filmmaker has another horror title with the studio in the works titled The Young People, starring Nicole Kidman and Lola Tung.

Plot details remain under wraps, but Keeper appears to concern a young couple at an isolated location. Maslany also appeared in The Monkey, which we gave a four-star review earlier this year. We also featured the performer as our February 2025 cover star in support of that film.
