The first chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen sequel spin-off Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo (Jujutsu Kaisen≡) is now available to read on the MANGA Plus platform. It was announced earlier in the month as =Modulo and will be a short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump.

Here’s the synopsis:

It’s been 68 years since the Culling Game. In 2086, an alien race known as the Simurians arrive on Earth in a spaceship. The fate of the world lies in the hands of two jujutsu sorcerers Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu. Jujutsu sorcerers and aliens, what chaos will be born from this meeting?

Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami is involved with the story, but the art duties are being handled by Yuji Iwasaki, who drew the Nisio Isin-written Cipher Academy manga.

New manga aside, you can also catch the recent teaser trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1. The anime will have its broadcast premiere in January 2026, with a theatrical pre-screening to begin in Japan on November 7, 2025 JST.
