Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room, Rebel Ridge) and A24’s Halloween fugitive thriller October continues to build out an exciting cast with three new additions.

October will mark a Green Room reunion between Saulnier and actor Imogen Poots (Hedda, 28 Weeks Later), who Deadline reports joined the cast alongside James Badge Dale (The Empty Man), Matty Matheson (“The Bear”). 

Plot and character details for October remain tightly guarded, but the project has been described as a “fugitive thriller set during Halloween.” Saulnier will direct from his own script, with A24 producing and financing.

Cory Michael Smith  (Saturday Night) leads the cast that also includes Chase Sui Wonders (I Know What You Did Last Summer), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me), Young Mazino (“The Last of Us”), and “Barry” actor Stephen Root. 

Producers for the film include Rich Peete, Eli Bush, and Jeremy Saulnier & Skei Saulnier, with Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie, Traci Carlson, Elliott Coley, and Macon Blair.
