Haitian Soccer Star Fredlin “Fredinho” Mompremier Launches Agency to Empower Young Athletes – L’union Suite

Fredlin Mompremier, widely known as “Fredlin Mompremier,” has turned a childhood dream on the dusty fields of Limbé, Haiti, into a global soccer journey and now he’s giving back by empowering the next generation of Caribbean talent through his new venture, Novaro Athletic Agency.

“Soccer is my passion, my first love,” Mompremier reflects, recalling how he started kicking a ball almost as soon as he could walk. His natural talent was evident from an early age, but it was his bold decision to move to the United States at just 16 that set the stage for an extraordinary rise. Arriving in Fort Lauderdale without speaking English, Mompremier immersed himself in his junior year at Fort Lauderdale High School, quickly standing out on the pitch with West Pines United FC. College scouts took notice, ultimately leading him to the University of Tampa.

At Tampa, he earned All-American honors and later transferred to a Division I program, graduating with a degree in sports management and business. His professional breakthrough came with FC Tulsa in the USL, followed by a stint with Sporting Kansas City. Mompremier’s career spanned continents, including Europe and Asia, while representing Haiti’s U-20 and U-23 national teams. Despite his global success, his focus remained on giving back to the talent back home.

Novaro Athletic Agency is Mompremier’s latest endeavor, dedicated to bridging the gap for aspiring soccer players. “We help kids with talent go to college to pursue their dreams by playing soccer and getting an education,” he explains. “We also guide players to professional contracts around the world. Our mission is to help the kids who want it the most. These kids have so much talent, but nobody shows them the way.”

The agency has already made its mark. In a milestone move, Novaro signed 18-year-old offensive midfielder Obas Mahevens from La Playard Academy in Limbé, Haiti, to Villa Lions FC in Antigua and Barbuda. This high-profile professional placement is a proud full-circle moment for Mompremier, who helped a fellow Limbé native take the same leap he once did.

Novaro Athletic Agency is not just creating opportunities, it’s reshaping the pathway for Caribbean soccer talent, proving that with guidance, ambition, and a little support, the next generation can reach the global stage.
