Dead of Winter is now available on Digital and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on December 9 via Vertical.

Academy Award winner Emma Thompson stars in the film, which hit theaters last month.

No special features are included with the snowswept survival thriller.

Hit by a blizzard, a grief-stricken loner gets lost among back roads near a Minnesotan lake. She stops for help at a remote cabin in the woods, where she discovers a young woman kidnapped by a desperate couple who are armed and intent on murder. Isolated and without cell service, the unlikely hero realizes she is the victim’s only hope of survival.

Judy Greer, Marc Menchaca, Laurel Marsden, Gaia Wise, Cuan Hosty-Blaney, and Brian F. O’Byrne round out the cast.

Brian Kirk (21 Bridges, “Penny Dreadful”) directs from a script by Nicholas Jacobson-Larson and Dalton Leeb.

Jon Berg (Doctor Sleep, Wonder Woman), Greg Silverman, Jonas Katzenstein, and Maximilian Leo produce, with Thompson serving as an executive producer.
