Driver killed on Pennsylvania Turnpike after striking deer in Montgomery County

Part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed on Monday night following a deadly crash in Montgomery County.

LOWER MORELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — Part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike was closed on Monday night following a deadly crash in Montgomery County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene near mile marker 345.9 between Willow Grove exit #343 and Bensalem exit #351.

Police say the driver of a Ford Mustang collided with a deer. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

All lanes have since reopened.
