Developer Glowstick Entertainment’s horror video game Dark Deception has been tapped for feature film adaptation, with Deadline reporting that writers Adrian Speckert and Cory Todd Hughes from So It Goes Entertainment are bringing the game to the screen.
Deadline reports, “Created by Vincent Livings and released by Glowstick Entertainment, Dark Deception blends arcade-style gameplay and psychological horror. Players must navigate nightmarish mazes where monsters lurk at every turn.”
“Our production company has a rich love of horror and the horror genre,” said Speckert and Hughes. “We’re enjoying the creative process on producing Wolf Creek: Legacy with the incredible team we have there, and we’d love to replicate that experience with Dark Deception.
“It’s an incredible, endless list of amazing characters and lore, and we can’t wait to extrapolate from all of that and bring a terrifyingly fun and faithful adaptation to the screen.”
