Jeweler and watchmaker Cartier has announced an anime titled LA PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER, which is produced by Production I.G and has manga artist Naoki Urasawa (21st Century Boys, MONSTER) onboard as a “creative partner.”
Cartier says that the anime is themed after the panther, which is closely tied to its brand. It’ll have an ending song composed by Ayatake Ezaki (5 Centimeters Per Second live-action film) and performed by Mitsuki Takahata.
The anime will first be unveiled at an event streamed on LINE VOOM on September 18, 9PM JST, the night before the opening of Cartier Ginza 4-Chome Boutique. It will have a public release later on a special website.
