Boyfriend still at large 2 years after woman’s murder in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — It’s been two years since a mother of three was shot and killed by her boyfriend in North Philadelphia.

Her family is still hoping her killer can be brought to justice.

“My sister was beautiful and she had a heart of gold.”

The family of Nitiffa “Tiffany” Wade are remembering her fondly.

The vibrant 40-year-old mother of three was shot and killed inside a property along the 2500 block of West Lehigh in North Philadelphia back on October 7th, 2023.

It happened in broad daylight, just before 2 p.m.

“Upon arrival they find the deceased, she’s been shot several times. They found that her boyfriend Armond Hilton was the one who went in and shot her death,” says John Appledorn of the Citizens Crime Commission.

Police are looking for 44-year-old Armond Hilton.

He and Wade were in a relationship at the time of the shooting.

He was the father of her youngest child.

“There is a warrant for Hilton’s arrest. He’s been on the run for two years now,” says Appledorn.

Wade’s family says she was a registered nurse, and kept busy helping those in her community.

That included raising money for families of those suffering from cancer through t-shirt and hat sales.

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Armond Hilton.

“He’s out there running around. They got a warrant for his arrest, charging him with murder. They’ve got enough evidence,” says Appledorn.
