Pop culture specialty retailer BoxLunch has announced a new partnership with MAG.NET, a Japanese company specializing in manga and anime and entertainment properties.
BoxLunch plans to launch a “curated selection” of merchandise from four popular manga series in January 2026, based on titles such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, and Uzumaki. The company also teased further expansion of new merchandise and IP collaborations in the future.
The partnership will see the creation of new merchandise inspired by manga artwork, which will be distributed across an immersive “shop-in-shop” build-out that will be featured across 10 select BoxLunch retail locations. In nationwide stores and e-commerce channels, customers will be able to purchase exclusively designed T-shirts, hats, and officially licensed manga volumes.
BoxLunch’s new partnership with MAG.NET coincides with the former’s 10th anniversary. The company previously partnered with Crunchyroll on products and promotion of Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia merchandise at several BoxLunch locations.
MAG.NET was established in June 2024 as a joint venture between Shogakukan and Marubeni Corporation. The company’s core mission is to “bridge creators and fans globally” and deliver “Japanese pop culture through official and authorized channels.”
The BoxLunch x MAG.NET merchandise collection will be available online at BoxLunch’s official website and across all BoxLunch retail locations nationwide.
