A new Bang Dream! TV anime, Bang Dream! Yume Mita, will begin broadcasting in 2026. This title focuses on the Mugendai Mewtype band, which began activities in 2023, and is produced by Nichika Line.

Beyond Bang Dream! Yume Mita, it was announced that Mugendai Mewtype’s first album, Progress Sign, will go on sale on December 24 JST. Additionally, an animated music video for the song “Tuning” was released on YouTube.
The anime was first announced at Mugendai Mewtype’s 4th LIVE concert, Unlock the Future. The band’s roster includes vocalist Arale Nakamachi, guitarist Nonoka Miyanaga, guitarist Ritsu Minetsuki, keyboardist Miyako Fuji, and DJ and manipulator Sengoku Yuno.
In addition to their musical activities, the members of Mugendai Mewtype also have individual YouTube channels, where they do livestreams with avatars and upload song covers, much like VTubers. The band is described as one that transcends the virtual and the real.
BanG Dream! is a multimedia “next generation girls band project” from Bushiroad that began in 2015 with a manga series. Other upcoming BanG Dream! anime include TV series sequel to the recent It’s MyGO!!!!! and its sequel spin-off Ave Mujica and a movie for the latter.
