Auroch Digital is doubling down on Warhammer 40K. Alongside working on Warhammer 40K: Boltgun II, the developer has teamed up with Vampire Survivors developer Poncle for the Survivors-like roguelite action game, Warhammer Survivors. Coming to Steam in 2026, this standalone game will see you play as characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar universes, collect and evolve iconic weapons and destroy endless swarms of enemies.

Choose your universe and engage in frenetic battles across the open and ashen plains of Aqshy to the tight and confined corridors of an abandoned Space Hulk. Every stage is a new arena of slaughter, each with its unique enemy faction, and plenty of secrets to uncover.

Players will lead a roster of iconic characters and endure against the swarms of relentless enemies. As in Vampire Survivors, weapons and power-ups can be combined into devastating new forms to create screen-clearing storms of bullets, blades and magic.

Auroch also unveiled the first playable characters for Warhammer Survivors in Malum Caedo, the titular hero from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, and Neave Blacktalon, warrior of the God-King Sigmar from Age of Sigmar. Malum unleashes righteous fury upon the ravenous swarms of the Tyranids, while Neave cleaves hordes of the Skaven menace. Accompanying Malum Caedo in this announcement is the Cadian Shock Trooper, Trooper Kozlowski, and the Space Marine Intercessor, Brother Luca. Meanwhile, alongside Neave Blacktalon is the unstoppable monster-slayer, Gotrek Gurnisson, and Sharynn Azurwrath, Stormcast Eternal Vanquisher, armed with a Celestial Greatsword.

Auroch Digital plans on announcing more about Warhammer Survivors, including more characters, in the future.
