Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family! Reveals New Key Visual Featuring Main Characters

A new key visual has been revealed for the ongoing Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family! TV anime series ahead of its fourth episode, featuring the show’s main characters. The anime first premiered in Japan on October 5, 2025 and is expected to broadcast for 11 episodes.

Yasuhiro Minami (Raven of the Inner Palace opening and Episode 3 storyboard artist and episode director et al., storyboard artist and director of various Gintama episodes) is directing the anime, with Reiko Nozaki as assistant director, Yukie Sugawara (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) as series screenwriter, Mika Yamamoto (Golden Kamuy Season 4 character design assistance) as character designer, and Kosuke Kobayashi (Waccha PriMagi! director) as series director. Studio Flad is handling the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:

  • • Ryota Suzuki as Enji Kamizato
  • • M.A.O as Suzume Yobane
  • • Hikaru Tono as Toki Kamisato
  • • Saku Mizuno as Hana Yashiki

The anime is based on the comedy manga series by nanateru, which was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website from July 9, 2021 to February 2, 2024. Three total tankobon volumes were released. 

A sequel manga titled Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z began serialization on the same website on July 19, 2024.Two tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2025.
