Having previously been expected in the summer of 2025, A Quiet Place Part III was later delayed by two full years.
As we reported at the time, the film would move to July 9th 2027, chiefly to ensure writer-director John Krasinski’s availability.
However, now we can confirm that the three-quel will move once again.
Fans needn’t worry, A Quiet Place Part III isn’t moving too far away. As reported by numerous reliable sources, Paramount have pushed the movie back three weeks, to July 30th 2025.
The reason given for the change was that the studio hopes to avoid competing with James Gunn’s Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow.
Given that A Quiet Place has proved a blockbusting franchise in the past, it’s understandable that Paramount would want as little competition as possible. In the previous slot, Krasinski’s film would be going head-to-head with Gunn’s superhero flick, undoubtedly spelling death on opening weekend.
In its new position, A Quiet Place Part III is much more likely to top the box-office.
Currently, plot details of the third instalment a being kept a closely-guarded secret.
Outside of the return of Krasinski, nothing else is known about the project. Key cast members Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are not currently confirmed to reprise their roles, but are expected to return.
We’ll keep an eye out for any further news on this project; including when the first plot details emerge. Watch this space and save the date, July 30th 2027!
