The pop-up plan is meant to commemorate the upcoming release of The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All‘s fourth volume in Japan on February 19, 2026. The tankobon volumes are published by KADOKAWA under the Kitora label, while the manga is posted online via X (formerly Twitter).
The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy At All sees rock-loving high schooler Aya falling for a CD shop employee, who, unbeknownst to her, is female and is also Aya’s next-seat neighbor in class, Mitsuki. The manga was the winner of the Next Manga Awards 2023 web manga category and the second American Manga Awards’ Best New Manga award.
An anime adaptation was announced in February 2025.
