The spin-off anime series, Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!, has released a teaser trailer for its second season. The second season, Bungou Stray Dogs Wan! 2, was recently announced with a teaser visual last week.
The trailer features highlights from the first season of the series before announcing that Bungou Stray Dogs Wan! 2 is confirmed for 2026.
Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! is a comedy, slice-of-life, supernatural spin-off manga written and illustrated by Neco Kanai. It’s a spin-off manga from the original Bungo Stray Dogs manga written by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. It was serialized in Young Ace Up before being serialized in KADOKAWA Shoten. As of November 2025, 14 manga volumes have been released.
The first season of Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! premiered in January 2021. It ran for 12 short episodes before ending in March 2021.
Yen Press has licensed and is publishing the manga in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season and describes the series as:
“Bungo Stray Dogs: an action battle epic set in the bustling, fictional city of Yokohama, where the port winds howl as “gifteds” whose powers take after the giants of literature.
Could you believe that those characters of the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia, whose battles bring them to the edge of death, would come looking so adorable and minimalistic, just to jest and jive?!”
