An ambulance crashed into a SEPTA EL Line supporting pillar in Philadelphia’s Juniata Park section Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — An ambulance crashed into a SEPTA EL Line supporting pillar in Philadelphia’s Juniata Park section Wednesday morning.

It happened around 5 a.m. in the 3800 block of Kensington Avenue.

Officials say the driver lost control and crashed.

Kensington Avenue at Castor Avenue was closed due to the crash.

Chopper 6 was over the scene, where you could see the ambulance has heavy damage to the right side of the vehicle.

Officials say two medics were injured. Both are in stable condition.
