The third season of OSHI NO KO has received its first trailer (labelled as a second trailer by Crunchyroll), a main visual, and a January 14, 2026 JST premiere date.
A bunch of character visuals were released too, each pairing a character with a quote (that’s slightly hard to make out in some cases).
In addition to the new previews and release date reveal, it was announced that Natori is performing the ending theme song “Serenade.”
OSHI NO KO Season 3 will begin half-a-year after the release of B-Komachi’s “POP IN 2.” Things are largely progressing well, but Kana has lost her previous cheeriness, and Ruby is pursuing the truth behind Ai and Goro’s deaths.

The anime is an adaptation of the entertainment industry-themed mystery drama manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish), which ran from 2020 to 2024 in Shueisha’s seinen magazine Weekly Young Jump. Yen Press describes the premise as such:
Gorou is a gynecologist and idol fan who’s in shock after his favorite star, Ai, announces an impromptu hiatus. Little does Gorou realize that he’s about to forge a bond with her that defies all common sense! Lies are an idol’s greatest weapon in this outrageous manga from Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish).
The anime’s first two seasons aired in 2023 and 2024. The first season had Ciao Nekotomi as assistant director with Kuniyasu Nishina joining her in that capacity on Season 2.
