‘Geisha War’ – First Look at ‘Tokyo Gore Police’ Director Yoshihiro Nishimura’s New Splatter Movie

Fresh off this year’s brand new movie Holy Mother, Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police) is now gearing up for another new one. His next is titled Geisha War, and production has wrapped on the horror/action movie from Girls and Corpses Films.

“My concept was always to bring an American actor to Japan to make this Yoshihiro’s first Japanese American co-production,” explains producer Robert Rhine. ”So, I cast actor Costas Mandylor (Hoffman in Saw III, IV, V, VI) for the American lead, Carmine.”

The cast also includes Robert Rhine (Cynthia, Exorcism At 60,000 Feet, Pig Killer) and Chuck Johnson (Snake Eyes), with Yoshika Nishi, Kakeru Nijiwo, Arata Yamanaka, Shun Sugar, Yuya Ishikawa, Fujio Zama, Tamao Sato. Itsuki Ohtaki and Natsumi Tadano.

In the upcoming Japanese action-horror movie Geisha War, rival bosses of Japanese Yakuza and American Mafia fight for control over the historic brothel/Geisha street in Yoshiwara, the historic pleasure quarter of old Edo, Tokyo. Blood is shed… like fountains.

The story was written by Robert Rhine and scripted by Daniel Benton and Jun Tsugida.

Yoshihiro Nishimura is known for his gory blasts of insanity including Tokyo Gore Police and Mutant Girls Squad, so expect Geisha War to be cut from the same cloth. Check out some sneak peek images above and down below and expect more on the film very soon.
