Terrifier fans were floored when Halloween Horror Nights announced the addition of their Terrifier house! And it wasn’t just fans who were taken by surprise. Cast and crew members were flabbergasted as well!
At the opening night of 2025’s Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood, a red carpet event was held for the cast and crew of the movie. Cast members, including David Howard Thornton, Jenna Kanell, and Lauren LaVera were able to experience the house themselves. In addition, crew members Damien Leone and Phillip Falcone were in attendance at the LA premiere, while producers Michael and Jason Leavy attended the Orlando park.
Many of the cast and crew members were kind enough to talk to iHorror about their experiences and thoughts when walking through a house based on the franchise that catapulted indie horror to the top of the genre!
David Howard Thornton- Art, Terrifier 1,2,3.. and SOON 4!
“I was really excited to hear that Art would be getting a HHN house this year, especially knowing how good the quality of the houses are. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the house, especially the bleach room, Clown Cafe, and Santa Art parts. Sienna also gave me my biggest jump scare. How appropriate. I also loved that Art was roaming the park and have loved watching the videos of him interacting with guests. The scare actors that played him made me proud!”

Jenna Kanell- Tara, Terrifier
“It’s wild and humbling to see how far we’ve come since making that tiny indie movie all those years ago. One of the many highlights of the red carpet opening was getting in trouble with security for giving my corpse a kiss on the cheek. Apparently you’re not supposed to handle the mannequins. Even if they’re of you.”

Mason Mecartea- Cole, Terrifier 3
“When I heard rumblings online, I knew it was going to be a perfect addition to the Halloween Horror Nights lineup. When the announcement was made, my initial reaction was just jumping up and down. I was already feeling so overwhelmed with how awesome the movie was doing, that this felt like too good to be true. Halloween Horror Nights is legendary, and to be involved in any way with one of the houses this year, is so surreal. I went with the cast and crew to the LA premiere of HHN, and it was one of the coolest nights of my life. Total pinch me moments throughout. The house couldn’t be more of an enthralling experience with the scene recreations, scare actors, set design, and smells. I get scared really easily, so I jumped for other reasons when I was in the house. I’m at the Orlando location to go to Horror Nights this Halloween, I am so excited to run it again.”

Daniel Roebuck- Santa Claus (Charles Johnson), Terrifier 3
“Coming face to face with myself at HHN was a great highlight of my career. You know you have really made it when your mug is used to terrify so many. So happy to be part of the Terrifier story.”
