1960s Eurospy throwback Reflection in a Dead Diamond will stream December 5 on Shudder.

Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani — the husband-and-wife filmmaking duo behind Amer, The Strange Color of Your Body’s Tears, and Let the Corpses Tan — write and direct.

In the film, when the mysterious woman in the room next door disappears, a debonair 70-year-old ex-spy living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur is confronted by the demons and darlings of a lurid past in which movie making, memories, and madness collide.

Fabio Testi (What Have You Done to Solange?), Yannick Renier, Koen De Bouw (Loft), Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction), and Thi Mai Nguyen star.

The stylish spy thriller premiered in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and went on to play Fantastic Fest, Tribeca, and Sitges, among others.

Reflection in a Dead Diamond is an international co-production between Belgium’s Kozak Films and Savage Film, Luxembourg’s Les Films Fauves, Italy’s Dandy Projects from Italy, and France’s Tobina Film and To Be Continued.
