The Goddess of Victory: Nikke YouTube channel has uploaded the free-to-play game’s new opening animation, which will be added to the game on October 30 after undergoing maintenance.
A-1 Pictures produced the animation, which had storyboards and direction by Yusuke Shibata (storyboard artist and unit/episode director on Goddess of Victory: Nikke‘s Old Tales special animation, Lycoris Recoil Episode 7). Some of the other staff members include:
• Unit director: Koki Tomari (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines Episode 8 storyboard artist and director)
• Character designer: Yuka Harada
• Animation supervisor and Rapture designer: Nanako Fukuda
• Animation supervisor and Rapture designer: Miku Kanda

The song for this opening is “In to the Fire,” performed by Victor Boraba.
Nikke is set to get its 3rd Anniversary update on October 30. The Shift Up-developed RPG shooter and gacha game was first released in November 2022 for iOS and Android, with a PC launch following in February 2023. In the game, mankind has been forced underground by alien invaders and fights back with the titular NIKKE, who are artificial soldiers.
