The previously announced TV special of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too is set to premiere in March 2026.
The announcement first came from the Fantasia Bunko Hoso Kyoku Aki no Daikansha-sai livestream.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too is based on the Fantasia Bunko light novel series by Miku. Yen Press describes the light novels as such:
A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown. On the other side, he finds a hoard of priceless artifacts and a world as filled with magic as it is with monsters. The most shocking revelation, however, is that he can bring whatever he wants back with him when he returns to Earth. It won’t be long before this double life changes him forever…
The light novel series began in 2018 and has 19 volumes as of October 2025. A TV anime series ran from April to June 2023, and a “new anime project” was later announced that same year.
