Cosplayer Nashiko Momotsuki Guest Stars in 4th Episode of My Awkward Senpai

Professional Japanese cosplayer and model Nashiko Momotsuki has been announced as a new guest cast member for the fourth episode of the ongoing My Awkward Senpai TV anime series. The anime first premiered in Japan on October 2, 2025, while episode four will air on October 23, 2025. 

Momotsuki, who also serves as the franchise’s promotional ambassador, will voice the character Nashiko Akizuki. 

She joins an anime voice cast that stars: 

  • • Lynn as Azusa Kannawa
  • • Shogo Sakata as Yu Kamegawa
  • • Ami Maeshima as Miho Hotta
  • • Mitsuki Saiga as Ritsu Kankaiji 

Ayumu Kotake (Acro Trip) is directing the anime series, with Mio Inoue (Slow Start series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, Acro Trip co-scenario writer) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Kenro Tokuda (Acro Trip sub-character designer) as character designer. Studio Elle is in charge of the animation production. 

Makoto Kudo‘s original romantic comedy manga has been serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine since December 6, 2019. Ten tankobon volumes have been released as of September 25, 2025. The manga is being released in English digitally on the Manga UP! Global app service and Comikey.

Crunchyroll is streaming My Awkward Senpai worldwide, and describes the main premise as: 

Kannawa has a secret: Even though she has a reputation in the office as intense, strict, and scary, she’s actually just…awkward. So, when she learns she has to train Kamegawa, the cute, nerdy newbie, she’s at a complete loss! Can this awkward senpai figure out how to handle her budding feelings?!
