Attempted scooter theft turns violent outside Wawa; suspect wanted
BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) — Police in Bucks County are investigating a violent assault and attempted robbery that occurred Monday night outside a Wawa in Bensalem.
The incident happened along Street Road near Route 1, where two suspects allegedly attempted to steal an e-scooter from a man.
According to investigators, the suspects punched and kicked the victim to the ground during the attack.
The assault was captured on video and has since circulated on social media. Authorities say the footage is now a key part of their ongoing investigation.
The victim sustained injuries but is expected to recover, police said.
Bensalem police are urging anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to come forward.
