A Strange New Website Reveals The Conspiracy Theories of Yorgos Lanthomis’ New Film

With the release of Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest film, Bugonia, a strange new website has appeared, delving deep into the conspiracy theories at the center of the film. This self-proclaimed “headquarters of the human resistance” is full of information about possible aliens (called Andromedans), research, and even sketches about what the Andromedans look like. It’s an incredibly curated dive into the world of the film and feels like the website of an unhinged person looking for answers.

Under “Suspected Andromedans”, there’s a deep dive into Michelle Fuller (Emma Stone), the CEO of the fictional pharmecutical company Auxolith. They dissect her physical appearances and the subtle signs that she’s an Andromedan. On each page, there are also a slew of comments from supposed other conspiracy theorists who corroborate this site owner’s theories.

There’s also a LinkedIn page for Auxolith, which includes a Forbes magazine cover featuring Fuller, quotes from Fuller about vaccines, and more. While the profile description explains this is a fictional account, there’s still some very convincing posts that make this feel like an actual corporate social media account.

The “Research & Findings” section of the website includes a bunch of sketches (artwork and designs from the film’s art department) of Andromedan technology and ships. There are also articles in the “Featured Articles” section that seem to further corrorborate this site’s claims. It’s a rabbit hole just waiting for you to fall in.

There’s even a section titled “Suspected Mothership Viewings” with a special surprise for those lucky enough to be near upcoming spottings on October 20, 2025…

Bugonia comes to theaters on October 31, 2025, from Focus Features.
