A TV anime adaptation of the Let’s Go Kaikigumi horror comedy manga has been announced.
The premise involves the protagonist becoming involved with an organization that deals with the paranormal after meeting their leader Mechako, despite being extremely frightened of such things.

Yutaka Hirata, who has directed episodes like PSYCHO PASS #16 and Golden Kamuy Season 3 #12, is directing the series at C-Station. Yoshimitsu Yamashita (HAKYU HOSHIN ENGI) is the character designer. The credits also list writer and YouTuber uketsu for song cooperation.
The cast includes Tasuku Hatanaka as the protagonist, Ruriko Aoki as Mechako, and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator.
The manga was created by View and is published by Shogakukan Creative. There are five volumes as of August 2024.
A “new series” that’s related to Let’s Go Kaikigumi was also announced and will begin serialization on the comedy website Omocoro soon.
