Visuals for the shorts adapted by the Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 anime anthology have been revealed, as the show gets closer to its November 8 JST Prime Video debut (there will also be a two-week theatrical screening period in Japan starting on October 17 JST)..
The stories are pulled from the one-shots compiled in the Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 17-21 and Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26 collections. There’s a wide range of material, often bizarre and surreal even when no supernatural or sci-fi elements are present.

Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 is the latest anime project to adapt the works of Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man. It has the involvement of Avex Animation Labels president Ryo Oyama, who previously had planning and produce credits on the anime film adaptation of Fujimoto’s Look Back one-shot.
One of the shorts in the anthology is produced by STUDIO GRAPH77, a new animation studio founded by the Avex-owned anime planning, production, and sales company FLAGSHIP LINE (the announcement was made in September). Oyama is a FLAGSHIP LINE board member.
