Cameras are now rolling on Aladdin: The Monkey’s Paw, and with them comes a fresh wave of intrigue, adventure, and twisted wishes. Empire Studios and Movie Gears are proud to reveal exciting new additions to the cast of the dark reimagining of the classic tale.
Acclaimed actor Nitin Ganatra joins the ensemble as Hassan, Aladdin’s long-lost father, a relic hunter who vanished under mysterious circumstances only to return at a time when fate and forbidden wishes collide.
He is joined by Hamza Jeetoa, Joshua Osei, Mark Fleischmann, Katrina Todd, Georgia Curtis, Toby Wynn-Davies, Abi Liz-King, Amber Doig-Thorne, Megan Roberts, Catheryna Diaz, Paul Stevens, Ruchika Jain, Helena Antonio, and David Dooner.
These new faces join the previously announced stellar line-up of Nick Sagar, Ricky Norwood, and Montana Manning. Not only does Nick Sagar star in the film, but he also takes the reins as director.
Produced by Charley McDougall, Jamie McLeod-Ross, Nick Sagar, and Abed Parab, the film promises to twist the legend of Aladdin into a tale where wishes come with a terrible price.

A modern-day Londoner, Aladdin, inherits an ancient monkey’s paw believed to grant wishes, only to discover that every desire comes at a soul-crushing price. As those around him fall victim to its curse, he must confront a growing evil—and the demonic force that feeds on every wish made.
Speaking from the set on the very first day of shooting, producer Charley McDougall teased, “Day one has only just started, and already the wishes are taking a turn for the worse! This story is darker, bolder, and more mischievous than anyone expects—we can’t wait to share what’s coming.”
