An anime adaptation of Marukawa‘s Apprentice Nail Painter in a Foreign Land (Ikyo no Tsumenuri Minarai) manga has been announced.

The announcement comes just a little before Volume 6’s October 3 JST release.

Apprentice Nail Painter in a Foreign Land sees office lady Sara, who’s interested in gel nails, ending up in a world where nails are used to cast magic. Additionally, there exist nail painters who paint the materials for magic onto nails. The story follows Sara’s life as an apprentice, with other characters including the powerful and idiosyncratic mage Rocco, the mage apprentice Ho, and the nail painter master Lido.

The manga debuted in 2022 on Shufu to Sekatsusha’s PASH UP!.
