The romance manga Hana-kun Can’t Live without Me is now available in English on K Manga.
The Ameko-created title, which debuted on the josei manga app Palcy in May 2024, depicts the romance between an office worker worn out by her job and a boy she picks up and comes to live with. The official synopsis reads:
“I’ll die with you. Promise.” In her second year since she started working, Kaede Yoshino has hit her limit, feeling completely burned out from working every day. Then, on the worst day of her life, under a beautiful moonlit sky, a totally wasted Kaede picks up a warm, black haired, fluffy…boy who’s like a cat?! As “Hana-kun” claims he has no home to go back to, they end up living together on a temporary basis. However, in doing so, Kaede starts to realize how it warms her heart to live with someone. Then, a certain event leads to a shocking revelation of who Hana-kun really is…?! A clingy, good-for-nothing boy meets a tender-hearted overworked girl in this deadly romance?!
There are currently 28 chapters (if counting by the split parts of a chapter) on K Manga.
Hana-kun Can’t Live without Me has been collected into three volumes, with the third set for an October 10, 2025 JST release.
Ameko was an Excellence Award recipient at the 45th Dessert Shinjin Manga Taisho award.
