The original anime SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes has been given the two-consecutive-cour treatment, a new announcement has revealed. This means that the show, which debuts on October 5 JST, will be with us until the early months of 2026.
Another announcement concerns the anime’s theme songs for Cour 1. The in-universe music unit SI-VIS, which is secretly a group of heroes as well, will perform both. The opening song is titled “So Far Away,” while the ending song “FRIENDS & SMILE.”
It was also revealed that the singing voice for SI-VIS leader YOSUKE will be provided by Taisho, the former vocalist and guitarist of the band PUSH REG LEADs. Accompanying this reveal was the streaming release of a YOSUKE-focused version of the song “Braver Dreamer.”
SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes was teased in July and comes from Aniplex and Sony Music (Aniplex is fully owned by Sony Music Entertainment). The premise reads:
SI-VIS is a co-ed music group led by YOSUKE,
shaking up the global music scene with their unmatched vocals and performances.
They are actually heroes in disguise, however, battling against a mysterious force threatening to destroy the world.
They gather energy through live performances and convert audience energy into combat power.
The battles appear to be ordinary concerts to the public, so their identity remains a secret.
A teaser trailer was revealed earlier this month.
