No less than from the US President
Bang Bang He shot him down
Bang Bang He hit the ground
Bang Bang That awful sound
Bang Bang That madman shot him down.
But irony of ironies
The means of murder was all his
In the end he was undone
Supporting the right to bear a gun.
Why did Charlie have to die
Listen to that huge outcry
Then remember Sandy Hook
And 17 young kids at Parklands High.
Bang Bang He shot him down
Bang Bang He hit the ground
Bang Bang That awful sound
Bang Bang That madman shot him down.
Where was all this outcry then
Instead we witnessed yet again
Sorrowful shakes of their heads
And doleful platitudes from mournful men.
With nothing said and nothing done
Constitutionally won
His circle it was cruelly run
For Kirk died for the right to bear a gun.
